Brian Ponshock
In 1971, Brian Ponshock sprouted from the potato fields of Antigo, Wisconsin. The youngest spud of nine, he distinguished himself from his siblings by showing his love of drawing at an early age. Ponshock studied architectural and residential design at Northcentral Technical College in Wisconsin.
Ponshock is the creator of the cartoon panel “Mindframe,” winner of the Twain Award for Best Single Panel Cartoon of 2014–2015, and is co-creator of “Prideland” along with Ryan Stoker. Most recently, he created “Yaffle” with Caulfield. Ponshock is a mechanical designer by day and super cartoonist by night. He resides in his hometown with his husband, Ron, and their three dogs.
